SLIIT Academy Foundation in Engineering

The foundation in Engineering programme offers a unique pathway for students with G.C.E Ordinary Level qualifications to enter into an Engineering degree programme. At the end of the Foundation programme, the successful leaner is awarded a ”Foundation Certificate in Engineering Science”.

The programme also leads to any two year Higher Diploma which enables learners to enter a degree programme in a related field of specialization in Engineering from a foreign affiliated degree programme in Sri Lanka or overseas.

Entry Requirements

Passes in at least six (06) subjects including credits for Mathematics, Science & English at the G.C.E Ordinary Level (Sri Lanka) examination obtained at one and the same sitting Or
Passes in at least six (06) subjects including credits for Mathematics, Science & English at the G.C.E Ordinary Level (London) Examination obtained at one and the same sitting. AND
A pass at the Aptitude test and the Compulsory Placement Test for English and Mathematics conducted by SLIIT Academy.

Aptitude Test

This test is conducted online and it consists of analytical, logical and mathematical questions. Aptitude Test will be held in Sinhala, English & Tamil Language.
